Right for Alaska is a grassroots movement for the land, the livelihoods, and the independence that make this place home — and the neighbors who won’t let it slip away.

Right for Alaska ("Right for Alaska," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use our website, emails, text program, or other online properties (together, the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to what's described here. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make a meaningful change, we'll post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date above.
When you add your name, sign a petition, volunteer, donate, or otherwise reach out, you may give us your name, email address, phone number, mailing address or ZIP, city, state, and anything you write in a message or comment. If you sign a public petition, we may treat your name, city, and state as public and share it — for example, with lawmakers or the press — as part of that petition.
When you visit the Site, we automatically log things like your IP address, general location, device and browser type, the pages you view, and how you got here. We collect this with cookies and similar tools (see Section 3).
We may receive information about you from vendors and partners who help us run email and text campaigns, measure our reach, or update our supporter records — for instance, whether you opened an email or clicked a link.
We don't ask for sensitive data like Social Security numbers, financial-account numbers, or health information through the Site. Please don't send it to us unless we specifically ask.
We may use information that has been aggregated or stripped of identifying details for any lawful purpose.
We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to remember your preferences, understand how the Site is used, and measure our outreach. Most browsers accept cookies by default; you can change your settings to block or delete them, though some features may stop working. We may also work with analytics and advertising partners who set their own cookies to help us reach and understand supporters. To limit interest-based ads, you can use the Network Advertising Initiative or Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out tools.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:
Text messaging consent is never shared. Your mobile opt-in and consent will not be shared with anyone — including affiliates — for their marketing, and are used only to send the messages you asked for.
If you opt in, we'll send campaign emails and — if you give us your mobile number and check the SMS box — recurring text messages. You can leave the email list anytime using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us. You can stop texts anytime by replying STOP; reply HELP for help. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Agreeing to messages is never a condition of donating.
You can decline to give us information, unsubscribe from email, opt out of texts, or ask us to review, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. To make a request, email us using the address below; we may need to verify your identity first.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
The Site is meant for adults 18 and older and isn't directed to children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
The Site may link to other websites we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices — please review their policies before sharing information.
If we change this policy, we'll post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept it.
